Angie Thompson

Angie moved with her husband and two girls 10 years ago from Nebraska to Marion, Indiana to follow God's calling.  Although Nebraska will always be the early beginnings of their life, Angie and her family are beginning to plant roots and feel a part of this community.  Angie has a Business Administration degree and received her MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University three years ago.  She currently works at IWU in the Division of Business and occasionally teaches a business class. In Nebraska, she served on several community boards and enjoyed networking and seeing her local community through different lenses.

Angie and her husband, Jeff have one girl in college and one in high school and enjoy the successes and challenges of parenting young adults.  

Angie enjoys giving back to people by filling needs where her skills fit in the church, her job, and her community.  She joins Jeff in pre-marital counseling, leading a young marrieds life group, and giving Godly advice to the students that she works with.

Angie has a desire to serve organizations that have the pure message of the gospel—to teach and disciple those that God puts in her path.  She is excited to see what God has for Compass and how she can serve and further the gospel through their resources and events.
