Welcome to the first True North News, the bi-monthly newsletter for Compass Ministries. Our hope in offering this newsletter is to highlight and provide insight on what is happening in all four areas of Compass (Compass Worship, Compass College Aged Ministry, Compass Community, Compass Family). We want to showcase how people are "programming" ministry into their daily lives and being the church in their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, campuses and beyond. Whether you are a a college student, a parent/grandparent of a student or you are a year round participant at Compass we want everyone to be aware of what God is doing and how we are fulfilling our mission of helping people discover and follow Jesus, our True North, in every aspect of their life. 

We also believe that if we want to have the furthest reach possible we need people to partner with us. Partnership with Compass comes in many forms.

  • We need people to pray daily for us, praying that we continue to follow where God is leading and stay obedient to the call He put on our hearts just over 3 years ago.

  • We need people to volunteer to be a part of our events. To engage with students and serve the community through various events and partnerships.

  • We also need people to consider partnering with us financially. We understand that a large part of the demographic that we have been called to serve isn't in the most financially fluid season of life so we are trusting that as parents, grandparents, and community members learn more about our purpose and vision they would desire to help continue to move our mission forward.

We are so thankful for the way God has provided people, resources, and opportunities for us to serve, equip and empower so many college students and families over the past 2 years and we cannot wait to celebrate with you how He provides in the years to come.
