The Heart of Compass

True north is a precise direction, and, no matter where you start on the globe, true north will always lead you to the same location. There is nothing erratic or misleading about true north. At Compass, we seek to meet you where you are and help you discover and follow True North in every aspect of your life. We believe Jesus Christ is our True North. In John 14:6 Jesus states; "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through me." Only through a saving relationship with Jesus can we have access to the One True God.

For those who are spiritually wandering, a life surrendered to Jesus provides an unchanging, immovable direction to hope. Isaiah 42:16 (Message) says; "But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way, who can’t see where they’re going. I’ll be a personal guide to them, directing them through unknown country. I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take, make sure they don’t fall into the ditch. These are the things I’ll be doing for them—sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.” 

For those who have discovered True North, Jesus is a constant guide to not only help you stay the course but to lead others in the same direction of hope.  When we surrender every area of our lives to Jesus, He begins to make our path straight.  Proverbs 3:5-7 reminds us to; "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." 

So whether you have already discovered and been following True North, or if you have strayed away or have yet to begin to following True North, Compass exists to meet you wherever you are and equip you to make Jesus the focal point of every aspect of your life so His gospel can continue to be shared.
